Search Warren County Property Records Online

Warren County provides two online options for searching property records. The first is Tapestry, which allows one-time searches at tapestry.fidlar.com. This is good if you just need to look up a single deed or check a specific filing. You can search by name or document type and view the index results. The second option is Laredo, which is a monthly subscription service for people who search Warren County records regularly, like title companies or attorneys.

The county also has a GIS mapping tool at the Warren County GIS portal. This shows parcel lines and basic property data on a map. You can click on a parcel to see owner info and boundary details. Warren County Recording Fees

Recording fees in Warren County follow the state schedule. The first page costs $24 to record. Each added page is $3. Under Section 59.313, documents that fail format standards get a $25 penalty. The format rules call for 8.5 by 11 inch paper, a 3 inch top margin, and at least 8 point type. Remember that handwritten documents are no longer accepted as of January 2026.

Types of Warren County Property Records

The Warren County Recorder files many types of property documents. Warranty deeds are the most common and carry a full title guarantee. Quitclaim deeds transfer interest without a guarantee. Deeds of trust secure loans against the property. Release deeds clear those liens when paid. Under Section 442.380, all documents affecting real estate must be recorded where the property is located.

Plats, surveys, easements, and restrictive covenants are also on file. Tax liens from unpaid taxes and mechanic's liens from unpaid contractor work get recorded at this office. Warren County Property Tax Records

Property taxes in Warren County follow the statewide system. The assessor values all real estate on odd-numbered years. Missouri uses ratios of 19% for residential, 12% for agricultural, and 32% for commercial. Tax bills are mailed by November 1 and due December 31. Unpaid taxes result in a lien filed at the recorder's office. The county collector handles payments and can provide a receipt or statement for any parcel.
